I’ve been trying to get your attention, but you’ve been distracted.

You need to stop!
stop thinking
stop planning
stop worrying
about presents
about parties
about trimmings
about turkey
about travelling
about Christmas cards
about your gift-list
about your wish-list
about credit cards
about where you’re going shopping after this
none of that compares to the true wonder of this season
“For unto you is born, in the city of David, a Saviour, which is Christ the King.”
Be silent
Be calm
Be still
and know that,
He is God!
